Finished with the 23 Things.
Web2.0 and library 2.0, general thoughts: Web 2.0 provides new or enhanced ways to get content out to our constituents, the operative word here is content. Without good and useful content, the best technologies will just frustrate and annoy our users.
Through these 23 things I've made librarian friends through web 2.0 and will be meeting one face to face in a couple of weeks (Alaska here I come).
What will I continue using? I hate to say this, but first off, all things Google. I really like Google Docs and Spreadsheets. I like Google Alerts. At home for entertainment we fly around the world with Google Earth, checking out places we've been or plan to go.
I'll continue using Bloglines for RSS feeds for library and personal information.
I enjoy sharing photos on Flickr and see it as a possible way to promote libraries.
And darned if I will continue with Twitter in the hopes that there will be an "a ha" moment.
This is a great program and a wonderful way to learn about Web 2.0
Maybe now I'll borrow the test Treo and see how many of the 23 things can be done on a smart phone.

Dude! Promise you'll keep helping us through our Things.
I still have to go through the 23 things with a Treo, so will still be blogging.
